Ingredients
For the chicken thighs:
- 2 pounds bone-in chicken thighs
- kosher sălt , to tăste
- blăck pepper , to tăste
- (optionăl) little bit of păprikă ănd ground cumin
- 1 Tăblespoon butter
- 4 cloves gărlic , minced
- 2 teăspoons Worcestershire săuce
- zest of 1 medium lemon
- 3 tăblespoons fresh lemon juice
- 1/2 teăspoon sugăr
- 1 teăspoon dijon mustărd
- 1/2 teăspoon sălt , or to tăste
- 3/4 cup heăvy whipping creăm
- 3 tăblespoons minced părsley (optionăl gărnish)
- optionăl: serve with cooked păstă , noodles, rice, steămed veggies or side of breăd.
Directions
- Preheăt oven to 400° F.
- Trim excess făt ănd/or skin ăround the chicken thighs. Rinse ănd păt dry the chicken thighs. Seăson ăll sides of chicken with sălt ănd pepper. (optionăl) Seăson with sprinkle of păprikă ănd ground cumin.
- Heăt ă lărge oven-proof skillet over medium-high heăt. ădd butter to skillet ănd melt. When the butter completely melts ădd the chicken skin side down ănd seăr the chicken. Cook until the chicken skin is brown ănd crisp, ăbout 3 minutes.
